Popicci.

I’ve been working on a monthly comic for a Galician children’s magazine called O Papagaio since 2017. The comic is called Popicci, after the name of the main character. Popicci made its first appearance in another book, Fragmentos Seleccionados, published by Apa Apa Cómics shortly before I was asked to work on this. He was a human at first, but then he changed and took a life of its own.

Llevo trabajando en un cómic llamado Popicci para la revista gallega O Papagaio desde 2017. Popicci apareció por primera vez en el libro Fragmentos Seleccionados, un poco antes de que me pidiesen colaborar en la revista. Este es el único trabajo estable que he tenido relacionado con el mundo del cómic en toda mi vida.

As I’m working right now on finishing page number 80, thus concluding the 2024-2025 season, I though I’d share some pages from all these years. All the text is in Galician.

Estoy trabajando en la página número 80 estos días, acabando esta temporada 2024-2025. Me resulta difícil creer que haya hecho tantas páginas, pero por mucho que lo intente no puedo negarlo. Aquí están algunas.

I’d love to compile them into a book someday, but I haven’t had luck finding an option that makes sense so far, so we’ll see.

Me encantaría recopilarlas en un libro algún día, pero es difícil encontrar la manera. Está bien que existan así también, estoy muy agradecido de todas formas.
